Overview
NeonInk is Aptlantis Studio's whole-brand visual and semantic design standard. It governs website UI, generated SVG artifacts, SESM metadata, Tailwind/CSS tokens, Canva assets, presentations, social graphics, and future marketing surfaces for the Aptlantis ecosystem.
NIPC: Neon Ink Palette Contract
Status: Canonical palette contract for Neon Ink v0.1.1
AIC: Artifact Interface Contract
Status: Draft v0.1.1
APGC: Artifact Panel Geometry Contract
Status: Draft v0.1
Relationship to SESM
SVG Embedded Semantic Metadata (SESM) is a standalone Aptlantis standard (see the SESM standard, City Hall position 23). It is not a NeonInk-owned standard, but NeonInk's Docs/ folder in the source tree contains a working copy โ SESM-v0.2.md โ because Neon Ink, NIPC, and AIC are written to interlock tightly with SESM's metadata model.
Component Patterns
This page is built from Docs/ComponentPatterns.md, which carries an NIPC alignment note marking it as the current reference. Docs/AptlantisStudio-ComponentPatterns.md is a byte-for-byte legacy duplicate without that note โ it is superseded by this document and kept only as historical evidence in the source tree.
CSS & Tailwind Tokens
This page is built from Docs/CSSs.md, which carries an NIPC alignment note. Docs/AptlantisStudio-CSSs.md is a legacy duplicate without that note (and with slightly different green/tools hex values โ #84CC16 vs #34D399), superseded by this document.
Taxonomy Expansion Framework
Source its semantic-color ideas are pre-NIPC brainstorming that has since been formalized and superseded by NIPC, which defines the canonical palette families, token variants, psychological intent, and validation rules. It is kept here as the design rationale that led to NIPC.
Architecture & System Design
Source: Docs/AptlantisStudio-Architecture&SystemDesignDocument.md (only version in the source tree โ no shorter-named duplicate exists for this one).
SVG Panel Examples
Source: Docs/SVG-Panels-Examples.md.
Tag Theme (Pre-NIPC Source Note)
Source this tag-theme note is a pre-NIPC source reference. Its core idea โ that tag colors carry meaning โ is now canonicalized in NIPC, including expanded color families, psychological intent, intensity, and validation rules. It is kept here as the earliest design note in the chain.
References
Non-Markdown reference material from the NeonInk source tree: brand guidelines, slide decks, and a legacy project manifest. Full-text markdown specs are covered by the other pages in this standard (see Overview, NIPC, AIC, APGC).

Manga Gallery
The NeonInk source tree includes a set of AI-generated manga-style illustrations used as narrative/marketing assets for the Aptlantis design system (the "Narrative Interface Layer" referenced in References). Each image has a paired JSON record with the generation prompt, model, and section/role tags. This page is a visual index, not standard specification content โ see Overview and the other spec pages for the actual NeonInk standard.

Logo Gallery
Aptlantis Studio wordmark and icon assets, preserved from assets/logos/. See Overview ยง14.1 for wordmark usage rules.
Mockup Gallery
Web and theme-panel mockups preserved from assets/mockups/. Per Overview ยง16.2, mockups are reference material for visual direction and composition โ they may include legacy color values, and new final pages should translate those ideas into current NIPC tokens.
Screenshot Gallery
Screenshots of the built Aptlantis Studio site and tooling, preserved from assets/screenshots/. Per Overview ยง16.1, these are important references for layout density, sidebar behavior, dataset-page structure, and artifact-panel composition โ but they are not automatically canonical where they conflict with stronger system rules in the spec.
Infographic Gallery
Explanatory infographics preserved from assets/infographics/.
Validation Checklist
This checklist validates design-system adoption readiness under NeonInk. SFDS suite conformance for NeonInk is tracked by NeonInk.manifest.toml and the NeonInk Suite Map.
